how to retrieve prevoius messages in microsoft outlook

hai,
I hav formated my system and installed windows XP Professional . i
hav configured my microsoft outlook , but i am not able to retrieve my
prevoius messages . Iam having imprtant data in those mails . can u suggest
me how to get my messages retrived .
provide me a solution as soon aspossiblr i am very worried ablut my mails

You formatted your system and you wonder why you can't find your data? Well
unless you made a backup first or stored it on a separate disk it's gone
forgood. Otherwise search for pst-files (include hidden files/folders when
searching) and connect to it in Outlook by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
File...
