How to retrieve Outlook data

I'm desperate! I hope someone can help me. I posted question in "install"
and didn't get a response. My Outlook is completely shut down. I have Win
XP, Office XP, Outlook 2002. I deleted Outlook in error. I reinstalled.
Search of .pst files is 23-some pretty large. I don’t know which ones I
need. Back in Outook, I imported the only personal folder I saw and got 2
other sets of personal folders in Outlook but with no content. How do I get
rid of extra set of folders? How do I restore my Outlook data? Thanks
 
Had a pretty similar issue yesterday. I just went to "restore" to the time
before I wiped out my data and viola! it was there!

File/start/restore

You'll have to open (NOT import) each in turn to see which you want.
