How to retrieve deleted text in a document?

i had a big document done and somehow most of the text was deleted, the page
i was on however was not deleted so without realising it i saved the new
document and i lost 25 pages of text. is there anyway to retrieve that text?
 
If it's still open, undo repeatedly.
