How to Restore the Animated Internet Explorer Logo in Windows XP

If you are talking about putting the "Spinning Globe" in IE/OE, 6,
download Tweakui version 2.10 if you are running XP SP1. I understand
that this 2.10 is for XP SP1 and above only. With the Tweakui you can
select what animation you want up in the corner.

Run "rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear" (no quotes) in your Run > Dialog Box.

Hit enter.

I don't see why it won't work for XP but try this instead:

To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.
3. Type

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

and then click OK.

4. Restart Internet Explorer.
