How to restore contacts and folders without Wizard

I had to wipe my disk and reinstall Windows XP (probably
due to damaged caused by a virus). I did now know about
the Wizard that Outlook 2003 has for this purpose. I
saved the contacts.pst file archived all my personal
folders. I tried to import my contacts file and browsed
to it, but nothing happened. Does anyone know how I can
put restore these files?

Good news! I also saved the Outlook.pst file. That
seemed to have all of my folders. I did a search and
found the one same file that Outlook installed and pasted
the original file in the folder overwriting the nearly
empty setup version of the file. Now I just have to
figure out the contacts. I will make a new post on
that.

Juat Open them. File>Open>Outlook Data File>Personal Folders File.

This can corrupt your PST. Never overwrite a PST. Simply Open it
(File>Open).
