How to reply to post!

I sure appreciate this site .. I have tried to thank
people for their help by the e-mail reply and it
won't send I keep getting it back. How do you send e-
mail to the person that help you?

Newsgroup replies normally go to the group, not to e-mail. The occasional
e-mail reply may have a false address, which is the likely reason it bounces.

In general, you don't. People "munge" their e-mail addresses because
spammers scan the newsgroups for e-mail addresses. If you post using
your real address, you're in for an avalanche of spam. It's best to post
your thank you here, in the original thread. That way others who are
having the same problem can see a solution that worked.
 
Just reply back to the newsgroup as most people do not use their real e-mail
address since using a valid e-mail address is an open invitation to
spammers. That being said, it is always appreciated to receive thanks and a
short note back to the group is sufficient.
