how to remove virus?

Norton found a virus called W32.Beagle@mm in my computer and had it quaranteened,does it affects my computer and how do I remove it? Someone help please!
 
Go to WWW.GOOGLE.COM type in " W32.Beagle@mm" Click on search, follow the
removal instructions there.

Any particular reason why you can't simply follow Norton's
instructions to delete the quarantined files?
