How to remove partitions? HELP!

ok, i did a dumb thing. i bought xp full version with the
intent of installing it as new installation when i should
have installed it as an upgrade. now i have xp on drive c
and e. i need to remove the partition that i created in
error. any help in this matter would be so much
appreciated. i have tried everthing that i can think of
to do it, but it doesn't work. please email me the
solution to this problem.

If I'm reading your post correctly, you now have 2 installations of XP.
Boot into the one you want to keep. Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced,
Startup and Recovery and click the Edit button. Remove the reference to the
second XP install (the one you don't want) and remove it.

Now, this assumes that the one you want to keep is on C: and the one you
don't want is on E. From within the installation you want to keep, you can
delete files/folders, format the other drive as desired.
