Hi -

I send a group of personal contacts regular, personalised email
messages via a mail merge. I am using Outlook XP and McAfee v 8.0.

After every 5 messages, McAfee interrupts the auto-send process
thinking that a virus has taken control. I then need to click the
"continue what I was doing" option, which allows another 5 messages to
go before it gets interrupted.

There are about 100 addresses on my list, so I need to do this 20
times.

Is there a way to over-ride this security feature so that I can send
all messages at once?

Thanks,
Chris

You may have bigger problems - if our email servers see an email sent to
100 people (actually more than 20) it bounces the email as being spam.

Short lists are good, or sending the email via a list-serv, and you need
to use BCC so that everyone doesn't see everyone elses email address -
the BCC prevents spamming on computers that get infected.
