How to remove name of uninstalled programs?

I have discovered a program listed in the Add/Remove column which is no longer
installed but the name is still there and will not remove.
Is there a way to do that?

The old version of TweakUI would do it but the new version won't.

Find a copy of jv16 Powertools ..it will clean out the registry of any leftover apps that were
installed on your computer. After you use the registry cleaner, reboot. It should be gone
from the add/remove utility.
