Any idea how to remove the Links folder from my IE
Favorites list?

I've deleted it several times (had previously removed the
contents) but it keeps being re-created even though it's
empty.

Thanks.

are you sure you want to delete the links folder? do you
know what it does? it is the only folder i use in
favorites. any url you put in that directory will show up
on your explorer as a button in the link toolbar. you can
add folders to it also and then add the links to the
folders, and the folders show up on your explorer as a
toolbar. it is really a cool feature. just make sure you
are viewing your links toolbar, view - toolbars - links.
if you steill want to remove this directory and it keeps
recreating, maybe it is because you are viewing your link
toolbar, so do that same view - toolbar - link and make
sure it is unchecked.

Thanks for the insight. I haven't ever used the Links
buttons cause all my frequently visited websites are
organized into different folders in Favorites.

Links is unchecked on View, Toolbars so it doesn't show
up in my IE window, but the Links folder still shows up
in the Favorites & cause I don't use it, I'd like to get
rid of it if possible.

Open IE/Favorites/right click Links/Properties/click Hedden/Apply/Ok. At
least now you won't see it.
