Whenever i start a new email in outlook , if i click on the "c" a email
address keeps coming up that i want to delete ,,,this email address is not
in my address book , but one that i'd replied to and it keeps coming back
whenever i hit the c key when composing a new email.

thanks

When Outlook suggests the name, use the arrow key to highlight the name and
then push the delete key.

Does Outlook store addresses somewhere other than the contact folder?
I have been experiencing the same problem. I delete a contact, but if
I start entering their name in a new message, it appears.

thanks

That's called the AutoComplete cache. Just hover your mouse over the bogus
entry (or use the arrow keys) to select it and press Delete.

Odd... try closing all e-mail enabled apps and try renaming the *.NK2 to
*.bak file under \documents and settings\<USERID>\application
data\microsoft\outlook.
