Hi :) I'm new to Vista, and to Windows Mail. Every time I want to
delete a message, it puts up an warning message saying, something
like, "ARE YOU SURE ..."

Where do I reactivate that?

you don't.

I don't get that warning when deleting emails. I do get it when
deleting newsgroup messages, but the latter shouldn't be deleted
anyway.

I checked again, it still is doing it. How come it is not with alll
of you???

I used to use Eudora, and it had a way to turn this function off in
the settings. I just can't find it in Windows Mail.

HELP

I'm not aware of any such setting in WM (or in OE).
As far as I know, you're the first to experience this issue.

By any chance are you running one of the non-compatible antivirus
programs (McAfee or Norton)?

I think the person may be referring to when you right click on the folder to
empty the delete folder it ask you if you are sure. I too would like to get
rid of this.

Thanks brink. Yes I did know about the delete when you exit. Still would be
a nice addon in the next upgrade. Just like the one where you can minimse it
to the system tray without the aid of a helper program. Thanks again.
