My machine has broken and I have had to rebuild (replace
system board).

I need to reload windows but do not have the media (as it
was pre installed - Packard Bell). I do have my product
key certificate.

Is there a process where I can get the SW/Media from
Microsoft

Many Thanks

You need to contact Packerd Dell for a Resore CD or a Windows CD. Microsoft
can not help, only Packerd Bell can.

Greetings --

No, Microsoft cannot provide support for OEm licenses. You'll
have to contact Packard Bell for assistance, and for the replacement
motherboard, unless you're willing to buy a new WinXP license.

If you didn't replace with an identical motherboard, you're probably out of
luck, as the PB version of XP likely won't install on a different
motherboard.

Martin,

Of course there is a process to get the SW/Media from Microsoft.
Go to your local computer store pick up the OS you want (XP Home
or XP Professional) then bring it to the register and give them MONEY!!!!
