How to refresh report after changes are made in a table

Two part question.

1. If I make changes in a table in access --they do not show up
automatically, I usually have to close out of access, wait, then enter... Is
there a way to speed up this process?
2. I have a report made, but I would like it to draw data from a new table--
Do I have to make another report in order to draw from the new table?
Please help me---

Saved records will be displayed when you open the report. If you have a form
open with a newly entered record, your record may not show if the new record
hasn't been saved.
