How to recover Windows mail link or shortcut

My dad has somehow deleted the Windows Mail link in Start/All Programs and I
cannot find the program file to recreate a shortcut/link.
 
First place I looked. I also did a search for the file name WinMail and came
up with nothing. The folder you mentioned contains all the mail folders but
not the program. Windows Mail is still on the PC as I managed to find it
using a link on one of the Help pages but I cannot find the path of the link.

That folder should not contain any of the mail folders. The machine has
been screwed up and needs to be looked at by a professional.
