I wish to record to a Sharp VCR. I have a Radeon 9200 video card with S
video and composite out ( the composite out runs to the video in on the
vcr ). I'm running XP pro with an Athlon XP 2600+ processor on an MSI
motherboard with 1 gig of DDR 333 ram and two hard drives.

I can't figure out how to record to the vcr or how to see the output at the
tv.

Many thanks for any thoughts on my dilemma

I haven't done this myself, but I'd suggest this: Connect your video card
to the VCR using the S-video. Connect the line-out of your sound card to
the left and right audio-in jacks of your VCR. To do this, you'll need a
"Y" adapter that has a 1/8" plug on one end (to connect to the sound card)
and RCA females at the other end. Also, look in your video card display
properties, options etc., to be sure that the S-video line out is set up
properly to dispaly the signal on your TV.

HTH,
Ian.
(Let me know how things turn out.)
