I received a MDB attachment and found that Microsoft Outlook blocks the
attachment. I closed Microsoft Outlook and opened Outlook Express which then
imported the mail item. I was able to open the attachment and save it. I then
reverted back to Microsoft Outlook. I hope that this helps all you guys!!

So use Microsoft KB article on how to add filetypes to the Level1Remove
registry key to eliminate blocking that filetype as an attachment.
http://support.microsoft.com, select Outlook as the product, and search
on "Level1Remove". You can also use the Attachment Options plug-in to
Outlook to eliminate having to edit the registry if you are scared of it
(a link to Attachment Options is at http://www.slipstick.com).

Only because you configured OE to *not* block attachments which means it
allows ALL of them.
I then
reverted back to Microsoft Outlook. I hope that this helps all you
guys!!

You could also ask the sender to rename the file before attaching it,
like thisfile.md#, so it doesn't trigger the filetype filter, and then
you simply rename the file's extension back to .mdb when you save it.
