How do I get this newsgroup to load in Outlook Express so that I can read it
there?
Thanks,
Marsha

Click on the following link (or copy/paste it into IE Address Bar) to open
this newsgroup in your default newsreader:

First you need to find your ISP providers news group address.......something
like news.isp.net
Then under Tools/Accounts/news......................add...........news
follow the prompts to add your "newsgroup name" and preferably a Fake or
close to real email address and then the providers news group address.
when you click finish it will ask if you would like to download a list of
news groups ,say yes and after they downloaded subscribe to the ones you
want. You can also search by entering the name...as an example
microsoft.public.windowsxp.........and up will come a list that start with
that derscription

the free news group from MS is at news.microsoft.com.You set this up the
same way as described above

hope this helps

Mr. Clueless (aka NoStop): If one uses OE as a newsreader, it is
posssible to either top post or middle post or bottom post. Some
prefer top posting as I do and others prefer bottom posting.

Where did do get the idea that by not using OE it prevents top
posting?

I see a few posters who type a line at the top saying that the
answer is at the bottom...this is fine by me and should be for
most users.

Don't bother. Look for a real dedicated newsgroup client. At
least it will
prevent you from top posting to Usenet.

Yes and some hold conversations that are assbackwards where they answer
before the question is asked. These folks are generally thought of as not
being too bright.

How would you know? You don't use a real Usenet client.

The answer is where it should be ... after the question ... and there should
be no need to direct people to where the answer should logically be
located. For illogical people like you, I guess it is an aid.

Is that better? Now I am replying below a bunch of useless crap
that doesn't even relate to the question.

By the way...what was the question?

Cheers

See how easy it is to delete unnecessary parts of a post.

Top posting for a single question may be O.K.

Posting right below a multiple part question is only netiquette.
The only alternative is to REPEAT the question and then answer it. Kinda
dumb.
