How to re-install Microsoft Word 2003

I installed and used Microsot Office professional 2003. Then I got a virus
and Word became unresponsive and has to be cancelled from "Task Manager"
every time I try to use it. Is there an easy way to reinstall Word only? Or
is it better to reistall the whole Office package.

Have you determined that the machine's virus/Trojan/hijackware-free?
 
As best as I could. I ran Earthlink Protection control center which found 6
(six) suspect files, one of which was a trojan. I ran McAfee and did not
find any suspect files. Is there anything else I should do?

Before you even try a re-install
Find the file normal.dot
delete it and restart word.
Word will create a new one when it is started
The file may have become corrupt and is causing the word problem.
