Greetings! I installed Firefox web browser, which disabled the add-ons in
Internet Explorer. I didn't like Firefox, so I uninstalled it. However,
now add-ons are still disabled in Internet Explorer. I went to "Manage
Add-Ons" on the drop-down menu but it is faded (not available). I've
restarted Internet Explorer, the entire computer for that matter, many
times, but it does not turn the add-ons back on. How do I fix this?

Thanks!
Max

Try the internet option from control panel. Move to programs and then manage
add-ons. I don't know if this will be any different try it.

Hi max,
Adding to Frank, did you set the IE browser as your default browser in both;
On the IE properties under the programs Tab check the box that say Explorer
should check if it is the default browser.
Control panel >> Add/Remove >> Set Programs Access and defaults.
Right click the Start Button and select properties, on the Startmenu
Properties click on Customize Button.
On the general Tab under Show on Start menu check the box for
[ ] Internte [ Internet explorer]
Reboot your computer and see if you could manage to Enable the Add-ons.
If was n't that lon try system Restore to an earlier date before the Fox was
installed ;-).
HTH.
