I just upgraded to XP from ME. In PowerPoint, I can set the page size to
"custom" in File --> Page Setup. However, there is no "custom" option in
Print Properties so it's doing me no good. Any suggestions? It works fine
in ME -- in Print Properties I can create a custom size (within certain
limits) and the slide will print to that size. I have already tried
upgrading the printer driver to the latest/greatest. Thanks in advance!

I don't quite understand what you need to do here.

In case it helps:

PowerPoint will print the File, Page Setup slide size to whatever page size
you've set in Print Properties. If you choose "Scale to fit paper" it'll make
the slide as large as possible (without distortion) on the chosen paper size.
Otherwise it prints the slide at the Page Setup size as is; if that's bigger
than the paper, it gets cropped.

If there's no custom page size available in the Printer Properties, it's
because your printer's driver doesn't support custom page sizes. Everything in
the dialogs you get from clicking Printer Properties is supplied by your
printer driver; it's not under PowerPoint's control.
