How to prevent pcs in the lab from shutting off after about 2 hour

Hello,

I got permission to run my code overnight and on the weekends on the 60 XP
machines in the lab. It looks like the machines shut off after about 2 hours
of inactivity. The problem is that the machines that are busy running my
code are shutting off, just like the machines that are really idle.

Is there a setting that would allow the idle machines to shut off, while not
shutting off the machines with a CPU that is using 100% of the cycles? What
would you suggest I tell our systems administrator?

They probably have some third-party auto shutdown timer set to shut down the
system at a certain time. If you cannot figure out how to bypass it, you may
need to contact your system administrator.
