How to override Network Drive access limit

I have a file server running XP Pro which has a shared drive currently
accessed by approximately 10 other PC's on my network. When I try to setup
an additional PC to have a network drive pointing to the shared drive, I get
a message that says the network drive cannot accept any other connections. I
have spent hours trying to find where XP sets access limits on the number of
simultaneous connections and not only can I not find how to change it, I
cannot even find any information on what the current limit is. I want to
give more PC's access to this shared drive. Any help would be wonderful.

Tom,

This is a fixed limitation for Windows XP Pro. To get around it, you'll need
Server 2K3.

Thank you for your fast reply. Sure would have been nice for Microsoft to
make little tidbits like this more well known so people would know that they
can't do things they might otherwise expect.

Tom,

It's called the fine print, and reading it only becomes easier with eXPerience.
