How to open new window maximized?

If I hit Ctrl->N I get a maximized window, but if I right-
click a link and say "Open in new window" I get a tiny
little window.

Any idea how I can convince IE to open new windows
maximized?

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
