how to open mail saved as message files in an older version of OL

In my old outlook, I used to save emails on my C-Drive as outlook message
files. I have now upgraded to Outlook 2003, and have lost the text off of all
those messages.

Can anyone tell me how to get around this?
 
OL2003 should be able to open MSG files from other Outlook vesions. What
version of Outlook did you have previously?
