How to make windows media player default

How do I make WMP open up when I put in a music cd? I
have it checked in the files to use WMP when these are
played but when I put a cd in I get I choice box that
pops up asking what I want to use to play it
 
Right-click on the CD drive within Windows Explorer and select Properties,
then select AutoPlay and set your AutoPlay options as you want. :)

The next time that box pops up click WMP once
And down at the bottom of the box check use this every
time then click ok
