I would like Windows Explorer to always show
the "details" view of my folders, rather than
the "thumbnails" or any other view.

How can I accomplish this? I will appreciate advise.

Thank you.

<Go to a folder.
<Set it as Details.
<Click - Tools
<Select Folder - Options
<Click Tab - View
<Click Button - Apply to All Folders

Hope this helps

open any folder you want. An example is the "fonts" folder
in the control panel. Now right click anywhere on the
screen and choose view\details and click it. Now click
tools\folder options on the toolbar(top of page) and then
click the view tab and the "apply to all folders" button
will now be available to you. Click it. Keep smiling.

Hi

With Windows Explorer open - go to View and enable 'Details'. Then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Re-start WE.
