Does any one know how to make outlook point to some personal folder
when it opens and when coming back from the calendar?

Thanks, Reuven.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, (e-mail address removed) asked:

this solve the opening issue but the worse from my point of view is
when I come back from the calendar I wish to in a different place then
the one I was at.

Here is the Problem:
I have many personal folders and they fill my screen (when the main
folder is closed), what I did is made a "Favorite Folders" of Inbox,
draft, sent items and deleted items, then collapsed the main mail
folder and opened the personal folder in a way that I can see all the
interesting folders.
Now, when I read messages from the inbox (in the favorite folders) then
go to the calendar and back to "mail" my main folder is expended and my
focus is on the inbox of the main folder and not the inbox of the
"favorite folders".
What I want is either to make the main folder remain closed and stay
with the focus on the inbox of the "favorite folders" (best option for
me) or when I get back to the mail from the calendar get focus on a
different folder then inbox.

Thanks,
Reuven.

Don't use the buttons (I'm assuming you are using OL2003 but you didn't
mention the version of Outlook). Use the folders tree to navigate
around. In fact, if you have a problem keeping yourself from using
those buttons, customize them so they don't show up or are squashed down
to one row of small icons (which also give you the benefit of more room
to show the folders tree). The buttons are coded to go to a specific
folder and present a specific view.
