How to make a picture part of the email body.

Would like to send a picture as part of the email body. So my friends can
view the picture without opening the file up.
 
Make sure your cursor is in the email body, from the Insert tab, select
picture. It should insert the picture into the email body.
 
Provided you use html format and provided the recipients view in HTML
format.
You cannot force a recipient to view html.
