How to lock Folders/ files in Win 2000 Prof. environment

Dear Friends i wanted to lock some imp folders so that
other users like guest/users can not access or delete
them. how to do that in Win 2000 prof.

You need to be using ntfs file permissions and then do not give that
user/group any access permissions to the folders. Be careful using deny
permissions, because administrators are members of everyone and user group.
Log off/on to allow settings to take place before testing results and always
test your configuration before final implementation and perform a backup
before making any changes. --- Steve
