Every time I boot XP Pro, I have to close out the System
Config window because I have chosen to have a few
programs not auto start. This is a PAIN! Didn't have to
do this in W98. So is this an upgrade in the software??!!
Does anyone know how to keep this from always from
pooping up?? (spelling intentional)
Thanks, Nick

Check; http://aumha.org/win4/a/loads.htm Most programs
have an option to uncheck for "start with windows". or
look here; http://www.rayslab.com/startup_manager/ and;
http://camtech2000.com/Pages/Ultimate_Startup_Manager.html
So select the full normal startup in your system config
and then open each program up that you do not want to
startup, and search for the option to start with windows,
uncheck it. Or try one of those startup manager programs.

Did you check the available box that says "do not show this message again",
and then close the window?
