The installer on the Win2K CD doesn't recognize the S-ATA drive, which is
the only on one this system. There doesn't seem to be a chance to load
special drivers either. I've read that S-ATA drives are "like SCSI" and I
see the Win2K installer loading SCSI drivers. Can someone tell me how to
get passed this problem? Thanks.

assuming you have your s-ata drivers from the mobo/card manufacturer on
diskette, just press the f6 key as soon as the blue dos screen shows when
booting from the win2k cd. you should get to a point to select "s" to load
3rd party mass storage drivers.

one other method would require you to create a custom win2k boot cd that
includes your s-ata drivers.
