How to install Wilcom (Embroidery Software)

my embroidery soft. was running on win98... but now I m unable to install it
on XP, what should I do?
please help!

Check if it is validated to run under Windows XP. If it doesn't list
Windows XP as a supported operating system then it is a crap shoot if it
will install or run. You need to check the system requirements of your
software to see if it supports Windows XP.

"Unable to install" doesn't tell us anything of what actually happened. How
do you know it doesn't install? Did something popup on the screen telling
you so? Does the computer hang or crash? Something indicated to you that
the install would not or did not work.

Try running it in compatibility mode. Another option is check the
vendor's website for patches or updated software that will run on XP.
 
No errors/ pop up windows come but the exe file wasn't run after
installation, in fact I already checked compatibility mode also. website of
wilcom have no sufficient help... now I am totally disappointed.

Since their web site never mentions system requirements, you are stuck with
having to contact them to ask.
 
Cheers, and wish you luck, I've eventually gotten software like that
working with the vendor pointing out the "little" "oh and you have to
set this like that's". :-)
