how to install gentoo easily in pc

since th gentoo one of the most tough installing linux so. i need some
amature help to do that. i have downloaded two iso imgs . one of x86
universal installation and no 2 is the package cd. now the problem is
when im boot it raeds that live installation. first of all i am
confused and thought did i downloaded the right installation disk. so
first q is that .

Those are the correct disks for a networkless install. Detailed
installation instructions are at
<http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/2005.1/index.xml>. You can also
view the installation instructions on the universal cd by using the
command

# links2 /mnt/cdrom/docs/html/index.html
