I want to highlight the values in the worksheet which have
been calculated by using a formula so that I can identify
easily all the values that have been calculcated by using
formulas

Edit > Go To > Special > Formulas
will select all cells containing formulas.
You can then apply a suitable format (for example, coloured background) to
them all together.
Of course, if you subsequently add/remove formulas, you must add/remove such
formatting.

Don't know what version you're using, or if this will help you or not, but
if your formula cells are unlocked, you can have XL mark the upper left
corner of all these cells.

<Tools> <Options> <ErrorChecking> tab,
Then, under Rules, check the box "UnlockedCellsContainingFormulas".
