When I have no mouse connected, I still have the mouse
pointer in the center of the screen. I don't know how to
disable it.

Hi,

You cannot disable mouse pointers since it is an
essential part of windows. do u have a mouse pad on the
laptop.use it to move the mouse pointer to the corner of
the screen.

Here's my setup, I use a desktop little pc on which I have
a video presentation starting automaticaly when the
machine boot. I don't want to bring with me the mouse and
the keyboard. The idea is to plug the computer and let it
play the video presentation. But the problem is even with
no mouse connected the pointer show right in the middle of
the screen, something that not happened with windows NT
when no mouse was connected to the computer. Any
suggestion are welcome

Thanks

You need a small program to run in the startup group that moves the mouse
cursor off screen to the bottom right corner. One of our programmers wrote
a small (24k) program that drops the mouse pointer to the bottom right
corner on each boot-up. If anyone wants a copy, email me at "rreimers at
hotmail dot com", I will send a copy via return email.
