Had to reformat and re-install win xp home.

Now, when I click on EXPLORER.EXE icon, it comes up compressed.

What do I need to do to make it come up EXPANDED?

I want it to open showing... like before I reformatted.

Desktop
My Documents
My Computer
3 1/2 floppy
Local Disk (C)
Local Disk (D)
Local Disk (E)
Local Disk (F)
AND SO ON....

Thanks

I assume you've created a shortcut for Windows Explorer that resides in your
Quick Launch toolbar and/or on your Desktop. Simply right-click on the WE
icon, select Properties, and show the Target as C:\WINDOWS\explorer.scf.

Thanks Wesley and Anna,

Wesley, your links were good info, and I will keep for future reference.

Anna, your tip was the simplest and IT WORKED! Did exactly what I wanted.

Thanks again to both of you.
