how to give smooth edge ?

dear expert,

please tell me how to give smooth edge to a picture in power point. or may
be in some other office program ? like my present edges are rectangle. i want
to give them a round, smooth edge... how to do it ??

please help

Draw an AutoShape (choose one you like from the AutoShapes item on the drawing
toolbar) then format it's Fill. Doubleclick it, go to the Colors and Lines tab,
choose Fill Effects from the Fill dropdown menu, go to the Picture Fill tab and
select the picture you want to use.
