Did you pay for Yahoo so you get access to the POP3 and SMTP servers (or
are you using a Yahoo domain that still offers them for free)? Can't do
a search through Yahoo's own help, like finding
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-06.html? If you don't want
to pay Yahoo for their premium service to get POP3 access, use YahooPOPs
instead (http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/). I would suggest using the
older version 0.5 since the latest 0.6 version has problems, like
https:// not working and they're still experimenting on getting it to
work as a transparent proxy.

Since Gmail accounts can only be obtained via invites, did the invite
not provide a link to create an account and which includes links to help
that tell you how to access Gmail's POP3 and SMTP servers? Can't do a
Google search, huh, like finding
http://email.about.com/od/outlookexpresstips/qt/et090605.htm?
