How to get the wireless status of my pocketpc?

Hello,

is there an api call that allows me to get the connection status (or
strenght) of the wlan im using on my pocketpc? i guess there isn't one
generic call which handles all networkcards, but im not so good in that
pinvoke stuff so i have no idea where to start searching?

any idea?
