I need to learn how use the PowerPoint object model. Would some of you more
knowledgeable types make some suggestions on books, learning groups, good
web sites, etc?

Here's the problem I'm trying to solve- A university wants to put a lot of
graphics information into a database. They want to use Access to make a VBA
application that will assist the production of PowerPoint presentations of
this graphics information.

I'd start by using the Object Browser in the VB IDE within PPT to do a bit of
exploring. Help also includes a graphic display of the object model (let us
know which version of PPT you have; we can help you find it, since help seldom
... um ... helps.)

You might also want to explain a bit more what's meant by "graphics
information". It's a pretty broad description.
