How to get round corners

Hi

Can anyone suggest as to how can I round off corners of the powerpoint
template itself?

You can't. You could add a little black or other color graphic in each corner
to make it *look* like it's rounded though.
 
Josh,

View > Master > Slide Master
autoshapes > rounded rectangle > make it the same size as your page.

Give the autoshape "no fill" color
Give the autoshape a "line color"
Give the autoshape a "line style" of a solid line
While you are there in the line styles window...choose "More lines"
make the line width at least 40pt.

Then slide the little yellow autoshape adjuster to adjust how rounded the rectangle is.

Then change the line color to suit your template
