How to get rid of the blue wavy line under my text?

In Word 2007 I have a blue wavy line under most of my text like the spelling
(red) or grammar (green) wavy lines. I think it is to do with consistency of
formatting but I cannot find where or how to get rid of it. Please can
someone help?!!
 
Confusingly, Word 2007 uses blue wavy lines for two different purposes.

When large parts of the text are marked, it probably is the formatting
consistency check (the text has direct formatting different from the
definition of the underlying style). To remove the marking, go to Office
button > Word Options > Advanced and, in the Editing Options group, uncheck
"Mark formatting inconsistencies". You can instead uncheck the one above it,
"Keep track of formatting", which will turn off both options, and also
prevent display of things like "Normal + Bold" in the Styles pane.

When individual words are marked, that could be from the new contextual
spelling check feature. It marks words that aren't misspelled but are likely
to be misused in context, such as "their" instead of "there". You can
control that with the "Use contextual spelling" option on the Office button
Word Options > Proofing dialog.
