How to get an XP fix

MS has a Knowledge Base Article - 817589, that describes I
problem I am having. They say a fix is available, but how
do you get it?

Have you phoned Microsoft as it said? Have you clicked the link under
"Resolution"?
 
Please see the article again.

It tells you how to get the fix by phoning Microsoft product support.
The second paragraph of the Resolution section tells you :-
"...
To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to obtain the fix
...."

These fixes that still need testing are only allowed out to those with
the problem. You have to call support, tell them immediately that you
want that fix because you experience the specific problem,. and you will
be given a download location without charge. You may be quizzed a
little as to the symptoms, and asked to report back on any difficulties
that arise
