Assuming it's Windows XP, from the Start icon choose
Control Panel.
From Control Pnael, chhose
System.

The General tab gives a brief description of your computer. The Computer
Name tab gives you the name of your computer - which you can change if
desired.

so I click on the start-button... where can I find control panel??..
already thanks for information
but plz help me further

This stand alone program should help-

SIW is an utility that displays detailed specs for motherboard, BIOS, CPU,
devices, memory, video, disk drives, ports, printers, operating system,
installed programs, processes, services, serial numbers (CD keys), users,
open files, system uptime, network, network shares, as well as real-time
monitors for CPU, memory, page file usage and network traffic.

They don't ask for the 'computer name' of the laptop, but for product
family and model. Usually you can see the family printed somewhere on
the laptop chassis. It might be 'MobiNote' or 'PortaNote' for Clevo
laptop computers.

If the model isn't printed on the chassis, too, you might see a little
sticker on the back or bottom of the chassis which contains that
information. Usually you'll get information about series/model by
checking order form, packing list, or bill. (You should know what you
have purchased, once...)

If you bought the laptop without that information (maybe used), then
you still can scan the pictures and information on the Clevo site
until you find what you need. Checking hardware information via
Control Panel or hardware information program beforehand will help
you in such cases. If you find out the exact model of your video card
you even might be able to get a new driver from the manufacturer of
that card. (Rather then using that one provided by Clevo.)

You can use a tool like "Unknown devices" from Halfdone for that task:

www.halfdone.com/Development/UnknownDevices

Don't forget to load the latest pcidevs.txt, too. (Follow the
instructions next to the download button for Unknown Devices.

Hit the little Windows button and the pause button at the same time. This
will bring up "system properties". Click on the "Computer Name" tab.
