Are you saying that the DL is an Exchange DL in the GAL (Active Directory) or
that it is a DL in a Contacts folder in an Exchange mailbox?

Either way, though, I don't think the information you seek is maintained. I
don't think there are time stamps associated with members in a DL.

He didn't make it up - group is what they are called in other clients and
(so far) is what its called in Outlook 2010.

AFAIK, there is no modified date field (or any other date field) for the DLs
in the GAL, but to be sure you should ask the Exchange exports -
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.exchange.misc

if it’s a DL in outlook's Contacts you will have a modified field.
