Is there a way to create a rule were I can identify en email coming from a
certain person and search for a keyword in the subject. If both match then I
would like to see if there is an attachment (for example an Excel
spreadsheet). If this is the case I want to save this spreadsheet in a
specific directory?
Can this be done? Eventually what I want to do is to extract data from that
particular Excel file and add it to a "Yearly Excel" spreadsheet.
Also what good book do you recommend which would teach me how to crate these
type of "Rules/Scripts"
Thank You Regards Charles Binz

you;ll need a 3rd party tool - mapilab.com has a utility that will do it,
sperrysoftware.com does too. or you can write a macro - see outlookcode.com
for help.
