How to enable EWF overlay???

Hello,

I use EWF RAM REG mode, and after I install a program, I run "ewfmgr
c: -commitanddisable" to save changes, restart computer, then I run
"ewfmgr c:" to check, I found the overlay is "disabled", how can I enable
it?

Sorry for posting, I just find out after I run "ewfmgr c:-enable", I need to
reboot computer to let it to be enabled.
 
Why not just use "ewfmgr c: -commit"
When the system restarts the changes are committed and EWF is still enabled.
