How to edit the size of a drop-down list (using data validation)?

I am using data validation in Excel and inserted a drop-down list but
eventhough I modified the size of the source or the size of the cell where
the list is placed, the drop-down list size doesn´t change and it is
impossible to see the whole option when scrolling down.
